At Electric City Flyers, we provide comprehensive aviation training to ensure you are ready for your checkride. Our mission is to deliver quality instruction in a supportive, hands-on environment, helping you reach new heights in your flying journey.
Discovery Flights
Are you or someone you know interested in learning to become a pilot but not sure where to start? We offer Discovery Flights that allow you to get in the airplane and feel the controls of the aircraft on a quick flight with our flight instructor as well as a brief ground lesson on aircraft basics and the various programs we offer. You will also be able to log your first flight!
Private Pilot Training
Interested in learning to fly for pleasure or wanting to pursue a career in aviation? The Private Pilot Certificate is the first place to start. The FAA requires a minimum of 40 hours flight time and 20 hours of training with a flight instructor to prepare for the Checkride. Our Private Pilot Training Syllabus is structured to prepare you for the test efficiently and to also be a safe and competent pilot along the way.
Please Note: the hourly requirements set by the FAA are strictly minimums. The hours required by each student to be checkride ready vary with the average being around 60+ hours.
Commercial Pilot Training
Already a private pilot but looking to create a career in Aviation? A Commercial Pilot Certificate is certainly one of the next steps. Our commercial pilot training program will allow you to dive deeper into aviation from both a safety and knowledge understanding as well as prepare you for the practical test.
Flight Review
Are you already a pilot but have been out of aviation for a while or just needing to satisfy the FAA Biannual flight review requirement? We offer flight reviews that will get you back into the air legally and safely.
